Ever stumble upon a person who tells you all about their worldly travels and you just stare at them asking yourself, “How does this person have the money to travel everywhere?” or “How do they get so much time off work?” If so, you’re not alone. I’ve found myself countless times meeting such folk who seem to have hit the lottery when it comes to traveling. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been very fortunate to have been on amazing family vacations throughout my life, but these people take traveling to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL. One acquaintance in particular spent an entire year doing nothing but traveling. I remember feeling dumbfounded at the fact that this was an actual reality for someone. More so, I was envious that the reality was not my own. It got me wondering how I could change that. I constantly battled with the questions above. I mean really? How does someone with a full-time job get enough time off or make enough to travel weeks at a time and still put money away for retirement? Then a better question hit me: Would I forever be living vicariously through their stories? The question was answered with a loud, “No.” I realized that I was the only thing holding me back from what I wanted. I am a huge believer that you can do whatever you set your mind to and my mind was set: I was going to get up and go…even with a full-time 9-5 job.

This blog is dedicated to those who want to enrich their lives with new cities, countries, people, and cultures. I hope that through my experiences, mistakes and triumphs that you find inspiration, ideas, and tips that make whatever dreams you have your reality.

Have your own travel tips? Some advice on places to go? Please share! I am always willing to learn about places I’ve not heard of, budget friendly tips, and ways to make traveling easy.

Bon Voyage!
xoxo, Jen
